So we're going to be launching a pilot episode soon of a PMD-e podcast, but we would like to get topic ideas straight from the members!  After we get it recorded, we'll make a journal posting the link to the podcast page, the tumblr which will take questions about the shows or anything related, etc.

But anyway, what types of topics interest you guys?  I suppose we'll see how long talks end up and we'd like to try to keep the subjects of each pretty clear.  The pilot's to help figure out how these are gonna work... so please comment here with anything you might want to learn more about, or that interests you guys.  Can be story-related, group-related, community-related... really anything to do with the group!

Thank you guys!!

I'd love to hear about your opinions on general pokemon games too (like the upcoming x&y and the pmd game)

How did PK come together with the other mods to create PMD-E? What grasped her attention about them? Did her impressions of them change as she got to know them better?

Did any of the NPCs go through major changes during the development stage?

Where there any Personal NPCs or teams made by ordinary members that really grabbed your attention? Who are they? What about them made them stand out? Are there any newer members that you think hold promise to being a successful team?

What was your initial reaction to the member count for PMD-E beginning to skyrocket?

The podcasts are a great idea! I'm really excited for them! What gave you the idea for them?

Ok, I had a bit more time to think over stuff:

Worldbuilding
-A short but focused podcast that would focus on a particular area and things about it. With all the areas, you could do quite a few and group members could send in questions.
Character spotlight
-Also short, but maybe focusing on a certain character. They could answer members' questions about the character and you could invite their creator to talk so we could hear from more of those involved.
Winners spotlight
-Not sure if all winners might like this, but maybe having a short interview with the winners or those who place highly in missions and what their processes are for making such great art/writing.
Tips
-a short podcast about some particular aspect of writing/art and tips on how to do it better (actually there are whole podcasts already dedicated to this sort of thing)
Nostalgia trip
-A podcast highlighting some old mission or other story that's important to the group. The story could be read and then maybe some commentary given. This might help newer members learn things about what happened before they were in the group.

Well, I think that would be enough material for 100s of podcasts if you used it all. I also probably used the word short too much, but I do like podcasts of lesser length.

You like short podcasts, huh?
Well, the podcasts are gonna be 2 hours in length each, so suck it!

...Okay seriously though I'll try to keep them around 30-45 minutes. That seems like a good time. They might end up shorter with guests who don't like to talk all that much.

well 30 minutes isn't too bad. I usually find that anything over an hour usually ended up holding my attention poorly.

Kind of like radio on the internet. You can download the audio file and play it on the go if you have a phone or an mp3 player.

Hello boys and girls!
Bloodfencer here, show host and technical producer of the PMDe podcast.
After we (read: I) encountered some minor (major) technical difficulties with the recording everything seems to be set up and ready to go! Expect the pilot episode to be out SOON (probably friday).
Little hint at what's in store for you guys:
-Special Guest: PK herself (hopefully a regular occurence)
-Topics: Some personal things about PK, as much as she feels comfortable sharing. Origins of the group and a little talk about the behind-the-scenes processes, along with a word on how your participation influenced the plot as well as how other artists and musicians contribute to the group

We'll try to keep it short and simple for the start. Getting excited? So are we!
Thank you all for your great questions and suggestions over here and feel free to post some more. I read them all to gather material for future episodes. I will also make a PMDe podcast tumblr, so you can send your questions and suggestions that way. We'll make sure to announce it here.
Bye for now and stay tuned.
