Even if I do not reply to everything, I will check this journal on and off to see what else is said. This is going to be The Journal for anything you want to express, any constructive critique regarding how we can make the group better for everyone, and so on! Make sure your comments have an actual suggestion for how we can fix any problem you spot - that is most important of all. If they don't, try to be very clear in what bothers you so that anyone who might want to think of a solution knows what they are trying to resolve.
Please bold the main subject of each of your suggestions, if possible. For instance, if you have ideas about a location or NPCs, then bold it like I just did before talking about it. It helps me out to scan for comments I might want to come back to. Thank you!
And please do not feel intimidated. We just want to make this better for everyone, which is no good if the group doesn't come together to say just how we can do so. So, please! Even if you have nothing to say now and are perfectly happy, you might later, so keep this journal in mind.

Maybe after each mission has ended one from each guild should be featured in a journal. This would make it easier to find good PMD-E artists without browsing through the submissions. It should advertise there team and comic/story with written reviews. I was thinking this could be a good substitute if you do dedide on taking away the judging process, allthough only 3 teams will get featured it would have a lot more information than from the spreadsheet. Also even if you do decide to keep the judging process i think it would be quite nice to give three teams the spotlight per mission.

They search the seas for any treasure they can get their hands on and plunder various villages and towns. Although through their plundering conquests, there is one invaluable prize they have been seeking for many many years. They search for leads and secrets leading to were the treasure might be. Though some end in failure, 'The Poison Dagger' never give up, their ambition willing them on to get to the treasure by any means possible.Their main residence is Alomomola Bay, where they stay to rest and plan for future voyages.
Full Name: Bane Hanson Dart
Affiliation: The Poison Dagger
Role: Ship's Captain
Trait: Sturdy body
Moveset: Venoshock, Revenge, Toxic, Dark Pulse.
More Info: Captain Dart is the ambitious Toxicroak captain of 'The Poison Dagger' with a ravenous greed for gold and riches. He only recruits the best of the best and the most useful and worthy Pokemon to work on his crew. However, most were forcefully recruited, while only a few joined willingly. He makes no room for mistakes, as he wants to have a guarantee on finding the treasure of a lifetime. Although being a good captain and the most feared Pokemon on the seas, the only real thing that matters to him is the treasure he has been searching for all his life.
Affiliation: The Poison Dagger
Role: Captain's First Mate
Trait: Alert to sounds
Moveset: Screech, Acrobatics, Night Slash, Swords Dance.
More Info: Skarro is the calm and devious first mate to Captain Dart. The crew has a very strange fear of him and tend to stay away. It is unknown what exactly makes him feared, but it is said that he has mysterious ways of inflicting pain and fear into others. Although oddly calm, Skarro maintains a somewhat creepy and disturbing smile.
Affiliation: The Poison Dagger

Trait: Good endurance
Moveset: Head Smash, Roar, Thief, Poison Tail.
More Info: Being the backbone of the crew, Ragar uplifts the other member's spirits and is often elected to take charge if necessary when the captain and first mate are busy. On plundering exploits, he is usually sent out before the others to destroy obstacles and strike fear into the hearts of the Pokemon there before the full crew comes, making the job much easier. Because of this, Ragar is often called 'The Messenger of Despair'.
Full Name: Oto Smith Mason
Affiliation: The Poison Dagger
Role: Crew Member/Cabin Boy
Moveset: Headbutt, Fury Cutter, Trick, Super Fang.
More Info: Oto is a bold and sneaky Zigzagoon that loves treasure and ancient relics. He was born in Alomomola Bay and was a worker in his family business, but then found a way of life he particularly liked. Being a pirate of the ship known as 'The Poison Dagger', Oto had been a favored member and helped with plundering. He was known as Oto the Skullbasher because of his hardheaded trait and the fact that he had actually cracked a guy's skull before... unintentionally though. However, becoming greedy in one piece of treasure in particular, Oto had tried to steal from the crew's captain, a Toxicroak known as Bane Dart. Once this was found out, the crew had planned to get rid of the Zigzagoon and sent him as a decoy when Ragar, a Nidoking, went to steal from Alomomola's bank. He had thrown Oto the decoy instead of the real money bags and got away, ditching him. He was caught by two rogues who later took him into their team.
Affiliation: The Poison Dagger
Role: Master Gunner
Age: Young Adult
Trait: Often dozes off
Moveset: Crunch, Metal Claw, Block, Snore.
More Info: Maeve was kidnapped at a young age from her parents and taken into the crew of 'The Poison Dagger'. She was basically born into the customs of a pirate and has no regard for manners at all. She was taught by the crew on how to maintain the cannons and other weapons on the ship. Now Maeve can easily check the cannons, ready the weapons, and zip through all the steps right before a battle begins and has become an expert at it. When not preparing or not when any important events are going on, she can be found in the depths of the ship usually taking a nap on one of the cannons itself.
As I pointed out, there may be quite a few ways to get around Tao other than being at the mercy of a ghost pokemon several dozen feet above the ground from location to location. Hopefully I bolded the words correctly.
[b] Underground minecart tunnels
Zip-lines, using extra-thick string shot from Bug-types
Wind-surfing using sails and boards through desert areas
Surfboarding the land using Muddy Water artifact
Bounce Artifact that looks like a massive medicine ball
Hang-gliding/giant kite flying like the ninjas of old
Voltorb Bicycles, the Voltorb are knocked out before usage
Pneumatic tube system with compressed air to launch certain pokemon who don't need to breathe to far off locations
Cable electric-type Cars
Cliff Railways (like in the Kyurem vs Keldeo movie)
Steamboats powered by a combo of metal, fire and water-types
A Wooden Frigate designed to hold a large crew and piloted by a hot-blooded, courageous, and vengeful captain of the sea, (since we'll need one to save PK's parents)
These days it's usually it's done with oranges so it stands to reason that the same would occur with oran berries. The thing that separates marmalade from jam though is that it is made with the peels, and you can see them in the final preserve. In cooking, it's used to create sauces and as a glaze for things like pork, as well as in baking and on things like toast.
A similar thing is done with lemons to create lemon curd, but rather than just creating a preserve with the peels, you make curds with beaten egg yolks, sugar, fruit juice and the zest. They don't keep as well as jams though, they're often used in cakes and tarts. It's good on bread though!
Laranalade - A peculiar tasting, almost sweet fruit preserve made from either Oran or Sitrus berries. You can still see the peels!
It goes great on toast, but it's also useful for creating sauces and glazes. A mouthful of this will restore your strength in no time.
(The name marmalade comes from the portuguese for quince, so to 'monify it I just changed the marmelo starting route to laranja which is orange. It'd be slightly sweeter than the berry as a large amount of sugar is added to create fruit preserves. Sitrus berries are closely related to oran berries so it would make sense for them to also be used)
Nomel Curd - A tart, but sweet spread frequently used in desserts. Put it in a sandwich for an instant treat!
I have an idea for a few NPCs, if anyone's willing to listen.
A timid Kirlia named Cosmo, Often lost in thought. Her village was wiped out by a Hydreigon, leaving only her mother, a Gardevoir named Rosemary, and her older sister, a shiny Kirlia named Galeration. After a while of traveling, they ran into that same Hydreigon and it tried to attack them. Hope, however, sacrificed herself in order to allow the two to get away. Unfortunately, Hope's sacrifice was somewhat in vain. The two children got separated, leaving Cosmo to wander alone as an orphan. Eventually, she's made her way to the Tao Village, and has been living off of scraps for her time here, but has been getting by alright.
This idea was inspired by Telltale of Walking Dead.
Q: If I fail a mission/task/event do I still get a reward?
A: Of course! You can "fail" a mission/task/event and your team will still qualify for the reward/stamp/point. Rewards are for participating, not "succeeding".
Q: Do I have to pick a guild? Or can I start an individual buisnes?
Q: Ok I filled up an app but I don't know where to place it.
A: Filled up apps go here -> [link] under an appropriate rank of course.
Q: If a team memeber "died" under a mission/event. Can they come back as a ghost pokemon, like Slasher? If so, is nothing required or is it like getting a new team member.
A: You may kill them off but you will have to wait until you are able to recruit them as a ghost pokemon which means if a task offers up ghost types for a certain amount of points, then spend the points you need.
Q: On what lvl do my team members start out?
A: There are no lvls in this game. You can make your characters strong, weak etc. it's up to you.
Q: Is it possible for a team member of yours to permanently quit the team or die?
A: Yes, but be shure to show it by art.
Q: How does the world of Tao look like?
A: You can see the map here [link] or on our wiki [link] .
Q: If I started out with one man team do I have to follow the adopton rules?
A: One-mon teams can recruit their second member - but only their second member - anytime for free, within the limits of species and accessory same with starting members of new teams.
Q: How would you evolve Pokemon that evolves through trading or via special items?
A: Every evolution way is covered by an evolution scroll.
There was one question that I missed the answer for so yeah. That will be all 4 now sorry for the 3 post 1 idea thing. My mistake and DA doesn't cover editing posts...
Q: Once I finish my application and submit it to the appropriate folder, is there anything I must do before starting a mission?
A: No, you're ready to go!
Q: Can items be gifted between teams? Like accessory vouchers, evolution scrolls, accessories, ect.
A: No, only between team members.
Q: Can you change your team name?
A: Yes. Just be sure to make it clear that your team merely changed their name, not started anew.
there are some things that are missing like:
Q: Does an egg need an evolution scroll to hatch?
A: No they don't. You can hatch them whenever you like.
Q: When using an evolution scroll do I have to show my pokemon evolve with a pic or comic or can it just happen without it?
A: It's preferred to show your Pokemon using the scroll to evolve. People generally have a member evolve during a mission or event.
Q: Can I trade in old and unwanted accesories for new ones?
A: Yes you can but it can't be a starter accesory.
Q: So if I finish an older mission after the judging and the folder closing can I still submit it?
A: Yes, it will go into the Misc Adventures folder as an adventure that your team went through. You will not get a voucher, stamp, or be judged though.
Q: After we play for a while can we modify our accessories?
A: You can do it with an accessory voucher. See here [link] .
Q: Do I get an accessory voucher or an evolution scroll for doing tasks?
A: Sometimes if the person giving out the task says so.
Q: Can the move set only be changed when a Pokémon evolves or are there other ways to learn/relearn moves?
A: You can exchange an evolution scroll to change the move set of one pokemon without having them evolve. You don't have to change all of your moves of course.
Q: I've played for a while and I decided that I want to change guilds. Can I do that?
A: Yes, but you MUST have a good reason for doing so. You must also draw or write out your team switching guilds. After that you get to keep your stamps, items and points, just be sure to clarify in the description why they belong to Rescuer missions instead of Merchant ones.
Q: OMG! I have too many items! What do I do?
A: Keep calm and use auntie Kanga's Storage (you can find it here [link]. You need an accessory voucher or an evolution scroll to activate it. After that you can stack items too.
I added answers according to what said under the FAQ.
Of course I may have been wrong and it may need edditing but those questions are quite basic so pls consider using them in the FAQ
This is for Gambitville. In hoping that it will be used more, as I have fallen in love with it
Personality: Lax, Proud of its power
Acessories: check/plaid shirt or scarf
Differences: Bushy facial features.
Habit: always cleaning a glass.
Like every western town, Gambitville needs an Inn! I came upon this as my team stumbled into the Inn that I'd placed into my Tasks and Short stories. (Calling it Gambitville Inn- but that can be improved)
Bartin would be the bartender of Gambitville. Being Lax, he let curfews go over time and occasionally encouraged a fight between pokemon. Since Jury's return, he's brought back his leading ability and tried to start curfews, unfortunately his Lax nature in the past years has caused the attenders to not care much his opinion. He Knows a lot, being a bartender and generally gives his information for a slight price.
but if it's an inn it also needs a receptionist and maids of some sort so I think the idea needs some more thought XP
but then again I like it!
Thankyou for your input
new people are not familiar with it cause it's hard to find at first,
besides knowing about the land would give people more ideas for their character's backstories
For the gender I would suggest instead of male/female
Gender: (male, female, na)
There are many members who would like to trade their accessory voucher for a older acceories for past missions.
But they're no longer available and they probably didn't know about the group till later. Just might make members more happy!
